Season 3 is wrapped! We had a great Season and raised over $16,000 for Olmsted Parks, Maryhurst, Kentucky Refugee Ministries, and Louisville Nature Center. It was a wild season with Hurricane and snowstorm performances but that didn’t slow us down. A thrilling visit from Chicago’s own Dcomposed helped us round out a great Season! Mission Statement
Music for a Purpose is a musician-led charitable concert series that focuses on using chamber music to promote awareness and raise funds for important causes of our time.
Making music brings a community together, and this community can be a powerful agent for change and growth. Louisville as a community has a long heritage of supporting great music, and is one that cares deeply about humanitarian issues of all kinds. I have seen the transformative power of chamber music to innovate in my performances around the US and abroad. I hope to share these experiences with my fellow Louisvillians while supporting a great cause.
